I'll join the chorus; I love the Pilot. Easily my most used TB bag. It's the perfect bag for your use case. My favorite thing about the Pilot is I use a 20oz. insulated Kleen Kanteen in my Pilot and it works very well. I basically just carry water in it, but I like it to stay cold. The Cadet is just more structured and maintains its shape even when empty. The Pilot doesn't flop over or anything, but it just looks empty when it's empty!
